Joe Squared North

Thanks to everyone for such a great evening! Special thanks to Andrew of June Star for helping us get set up. Man, best pizza ever at this place!

Brewer’s Alley Show Rescheduled

The new date is 3/24, hope to see you there!

Brewer’s Alley Show Postponed 3/3/2014

Due to the weather, the show tonight has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. Is it Spring yet?

Rod Deacey

Just wanted to wish Rod a Happy Birthday, 70 laps around the Sun, which is really hard to believe looking at the man. We had fun yesterday afternoon celebrating at Brewer’s Alley along with a roomful of songwriters, musicians, and poets, all gathered to pay tribute to Rod for both his art and his service to the art community. Well deserved!

Frederick Coffee Co.

Thanks to all for coming out to the show, it was a really nice afternoon! It was great to work with Dan Kenny again, and thanks to Todd Walker for hosting!

New Deal Cafe

Thanks to all who attended last night! And thanks for putting up with my craggy voice all night, singing with a cold … Special thanks to wonderful singer/songwriter Lynn Hollyfield for joining me, and to Erin Lewis (piano) and Michael Kerr (bass viol) for lending their considerable talents! And thanks to everyone at New Deal for supporting the music and arts!

Beans in the Belfry

Great audience last night, thanks so much for showing up! Special thanks to Michael Kerr for trekking out with his bass viol, it sounded great! We played together in Color Factory a few years ago. It was a lot of fun getting back together again and hopefully we’ll be playing more shows together in the future.

Beans in the Belfry

Thanks to all who came out last night, it was a fun evening. It’s like playing in the family room of my favorite old house in the country and it was a family affair last night. My son Luke surprised me and stopped in on his way back from N.J. to play a couple of songs and sounded real good.

Brewer’s Alley

Always a pleasure to play here. Good music from all and got to meet Jim Patton and Sherry Brokus from Austin, TX. I thought they sounded familiar, turns out they are Baltimore expatriates living the good life in Austin now. Thanks to all who came out!

Lynn Hollyfield Show

I’m backing up Lynn at her New Deal Cafe show on 10/30 along with Dave Abe (fiddle, mandolin), Carey Creed (keyboards, vocals), and Mary Gordon Hall (guitar, vocals). I’ll be doing a duet on three of my songs with Lynn and playing guitar on some of her songs. Carey and Mary Gordon are doing some of their own material as well. It’s always a privilege to play with Lynn. She is so supportive of the songwriting community and is such a talent on her own. Her new CD is nearing completion and she’ll be previewing some of the songs so come on out and say hello!
